How do I know how many units I need for my tree?

It's simple! Just measure the circumference of your tree trunk (the distance all the way around), then divide that number by π (3.1416). The result is your tree's diameter.

Our tree guard fits trunks with a diameter of up to 21 cm.
If your tree is wider than that, you’ll just need more than one unit to wrap it fully.

Example:
A customer asked about a tree with a circumference of 123 cm.
123 ÷ 3.1416 ≈ 39 cm in diameter
✅ In this case, we recommend buying 2 units to fully protect the trunk.

Does it actually stop cats from climbing trees?

Yes, it does. The design prevents cats from getting a grip, so they can’t climb the trunk. It’s a safe, non-harmful way to block access.
