• Place the owl decoy before fruit ripens and feeding habits develop.
• Place the garden owl in a prominent place so birds can see it.
• For added effectiveness, move the plastic owl around garden every few days.
• Use it only when birds are being destructive, remove it at other times. Store indoors when season is over to prevent birds from getting used to it.
• For Gardens:
  • Mount the Garden Owl on top of a tall pole and drive pole firmly into the ground.
  • The plastic owl must be positioned vertically for its head to move properly.
• For Rooftops:
  • Secure the plastic owl by tying in place or weight heavily.
