Bird Tape - EcoBirdNex
Bird Tape EcoBirdNex is a vibrating ribbon with acoustic and optical effects that provides protection against birds in restaurant terraces, balconies, buildings, and crops.
- It vibrates with the lightest breeze, producing gentle sounds and movements that change constantly.
- These continuous changes avoid birds getting used to it.
- The gentel sounds do not bother neighbours.
- Eco-friendly.
- Harmless to birds.
Bird Tape - EcoBirdNex - Recommended Use
- Install the Bird Tape before birds start damaging crops.
- Place the ribbon in sections of 4 to 8 metres, using a mast or any type of support.
- Secure it by twisting the ribbon two or three times around each peg.
- Make sure it is tight enough to avoid spirals, until completing the necessary length (4-8 meters).
- Place the tape facing the wind, that way it will be more effective.
- Height:
- For small crops, place the ribbons at a height of 90 cm from the ground.
- In groves or vineyards always place the ribbon above the crops to take advantage of the movement of the wind.
- Distance between bird tapes:
- Install the bird taps with a separation of approximately 9 metres for gardens and small crops.
- Create a separation of about 25 metres for larger areas.
- Where greater protection is needed, the ribbons can be placed closer to one another or overlapped at different heights.
It works reasonably well

It works reasonably well. Since it is very thin, it easily gets tangled and stops being effective. You need to keep untangling it so that it continues to flutter. Another option is to use it to hang CDs at a height where pigeons can see them.
Fast delivery

I haven't used it yet to say it works. From what I observed from a neighbor using it, this year the birds are causing much less damage.
Bird Tape - EcoBirdNex

It's a reasonable product, it has given excellent results so far, and it's at a price accessible to most agricultural producers.
It's expensive

At first, it seems expensive to me. I will let you know about its effectiveness once I check it.
[Felix: Update of reference 01/06/2023]
After a couple of weeks using the bird tape, I can say that this year I'm eating some delicious cherries. Could it be because of the tape? It's a shame it's still so expensive.
Easy to install

It has only been installed for one day. There are fewer pigeon droppings, but I need to test it for a longer time.
