AVIX Autonomic Mark II
Agrilaser Autonomic is a fully automated bird repelling system, providing continuous bird repelling capability after one time configuration.
The principle of repelling birds with a laser beam is inspired by nature. Birds perceive the approaching laser beam as a physical danger. It appeals to the survival instinct, causing the birds to fly away. The continuous presence of the moving laser beam keeps areas free of birds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Agrilaser Autonomic is the fully automatic and autonomous system of laser bird deterrent technology. After one time configuration the Autonomic repels birds and other animals 24/7 from an area of 12 square kilometers.
- Long range up to 2,500 meters. We advise using one AVIX Autonomic per 7-10 hectares.
- 24/7 prevention of bird presence.
- Long-term effectiveness. The Agrilaser Autonomic maintains its repelling effect over time.
- Easy to deploy in every desired situation.
- Safe for humans and birds.
- Animal and environmentally friendly. The Agrilaser Autonomic is a clean and silent solution, which is completely harmless to birds.
- Multiple power sources. AC Power or Solar Charging System:
- The Agilaser Autonomic is powered by AC power by default.
- To enable operation where grid power is not available, the Agilaser Autonomic can be equipped with an additional solar charging system.
- High grade industrial quality standards, and minimal maintenance. Every component of the Agilaser Autonomic is carefully selected to meet high grade industrial quality standards, to ensure operation in the field with minimal maintenance.
- Easy and fast configuration. The Agrilaser Autonomic is provided with intuitive software, enabling easy and fast configuration. The flexible nature of the Agrilaser Autonomic allows configuration of up to 3 time slots and 16 different zones, enabling bird repelling capabilty at the periods and places of your choice.
- Agrilaser Autonomic is most effective during sunrise and sunset and in overcast, rainy or foggy weather conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why is an AVIX Autonomic recommended for every 7-10 hectares if the laser reaches up to 2,500 meters?
Although the AVIX Autonomic has a theoretical range of up to 2,500 meters, several factors explain why we advise installing one device per 7-10 hectares for effective protection:
- Blind spots: Depending on the terrain, a single device might leave areas uncovered, allowing birds to take refuge there. This is especially relevant in uneven or hilly areas.
- Efficiency in broad daylight: Under peak sunlight conditions, when the sun is at its highest, the laser is most visible within approximately 500 meters.
- Optimal coverage time: For the installation to be truly effective, the laser must complete its cycle within a maximum of 15 minutes. If it covers too large an area, birds may move from one part of the field to another without being significantly affected by the system.
Is the laser safe for birds and other animals?
Yes, the AVIX Autonomic is a completely safe and environmentally friendly solution. The laser does not harm birds but instead triggers their natural flight instinct, effectively deterring them without causing stress.
Does it work at night or only during the day?
The system is most effective in low to medium light conditions, such as dawn and dusk. During peak daylight, its effectiveness is reduced to about 500 meters due to sunlight intensity.
Can it be used on any type of terrain?
Yes, but its effectiveness depends on the topography of the location. On flat terrain, the laser covers a broader area without obstacles. In hilly or densely vegetated areas, shadow zones may form where birds could seek refuge. In such cases, multiple units may need to be strategically installed.
